I arrived in Belgium at the age of twelve as an Iranian political refugee. I grew up in Leuven and went on to study Economics at KU Leuven. From a young age, I learned that great goals can be achieved through passion, hard work, and perseverance.

I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and that entrepreneurial spirit has always inspired me. Today, I’m channeling all my focus and energy into acquiring and operating a great company.

My career began in the petrochemical industry at ExxonMobil. After three years in fuels marketing, I joined the trading team as an oil trader, responsible for the physical supply of crude and products to the refineries in Antwerp and Rotterdam. Working closely with the refineries, I gained hands-on experience in operations, logistics, and the intricacies of international trade.

I later moved to South Africa to take on the role of country manager in the commodity trading industry. There, I owned the P&L and built a high-performing team, growing the business into the largest supplier of refined oil products into West Africa.

​

Following my MBA at INSEAD, I transitioned into finance and M&A, where I had the opportunity to work closely with hundreds of successful small and medium-sized businesses. This experience gave me valuable insights into what makes these companies thrive, and the common challenges they face on the path to growth.

I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and that entrepreneurial spirit has always inspired me. Today, I’m fully dedicated to acquiring a strong company that I can lead and grow over the long term. I plan to invest my own savings and am supported by a group of experienced entrepreneurs and investors who provide capital, guidance, and mentorship.

I hold an MBA, with distinction, from INSEAD and a Master’s in Economics, also with distinction, from KU Leuven. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my son.
